42. To the Maryland Lying-in Hospital of Baltimore
City, the sum of three thousand dollars for the fiscal year
1907, and the like sum of three thousand dollars for the
fiscal year 1908 ; to be used in accordance with the provisions
of Chapter 148 of the Acts of 1896.
43. To the Maryland Academy of Sciences, the sum of
five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1907, and the like
sum of five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1908.
44. To the Visitors and Governors of Washington Col-
lege, the sum of fifteen thousand dollars for the fiscal year
1907, and the like sum of fifteen thousand dollars for the
fiscal year 1908.
45. To the Maryland Home for Friendless Children, the
sum of five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1907, and the
like sum of five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1908.
46. To St. Vincent's Male Orphan Asylum, the sum of
five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1907, and the like
sum of five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1908.
47. To St. Mary's Home for Little Colored Boys, the sum
of five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1907, and the like
sum of five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1908.
48. To the Peninsula General Hospital of Salisbury, Mary-
land, the sum of seventy-five hundred dollars for the fiscal
year 1907, and the like sum of seventy-five hundred dollars
for the fiscal year 1908.
49. To the United Charities Hospital Association of Dor-
chester County, Maryland, the sum of fifteen thousand five
hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1907, and the sum of
seven thousand five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1908.
50. To the St. Joseph's Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland, in
charge of the Third Order St. Francis of Baltimore City, the
sum of seventy-five, hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1907,
and the like sum of seventy-five hundred dollars for the fiscal
year 1908 ; provided, that the said hospital shall furnish one
bed, maintenance aud treatment for one patient at a time for
each senatorial district of the State.
51. To the Franklin Square Hospital of Baltimore City,
the sum of six thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1907, and
the like sum of six thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1908,
upon the condition that the said hospital receive from each
county in the State and from each legislative district of
