Contingent
funds.
|
for the contingent fund of the State tax commissioner's
office, for printing blanks, circulars, stationery, books and
postage, seventeen hundred dollars, or so much thereof as
may be necessary ; for the contingent fund of the Land
Office, one thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary ; for the contingent fund of the Court of
Appeals, sixteen hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary ; for the contingent fund of the Attorney
General, for printing and traveling expenses, clerical services,
stationery, postage, and other necessary expenses, thirteen
hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ;
for the contingent fund of the board of public works, five
thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary ;
said amount to be expended under the direction and control
of said board, to be used for repairs to State property and
other necessary expenses ; for the contingent fund of the
State librarian, for postage, porterage, freight and other inci-
dental expenses, nine hundred and fifty dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary ; said contingent funds to be
paid upon proper vouchers exhibited to the Comptroller, an
itemized account of which shall be published by each depart-
ment.

For the augmentation of the State library and furniture,
two thousand five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as

may be necessary ; to the library committee, appointed by
the judges of the Court of Appeals under the provisions of
Section 12 of Article 55 of the Code of 1904, title "Libra-
rian, State," the sum of six thousand dollars for the purchase
by said committee of five hundred bound copies of the Code
of Public General Laws of 1904, prepared and published by
John Prentiss Poe and legalized by the Act of 1904, Chapter
72, so many of said copies as shall be necessary to be dis-
tributed under the direction of said library committee to the
Governor, Secretary of State, Comptroller, Treasurer, Attor-
ney General, Adjutant General, State Tax Commissioner, State
auditor, commissioner of the land office, commander of the
State fishery force, State fire marshal, State board of educa-
tion, superintendent of public education, to the judges of the
Court of Appeals and of the several judicial circuits, to the
judges of the supreme bench of Baltimore city, State's
attorneys of the several counties and of Baltimore city, the
