killed within the limits of St. Mary's county and thereupon
the said justice shall give a certificate of the production of
the said head or heads before him and the taking of said
oath; it shall then be the duty of the said justice to destroy
the said head or heads so as to prevent a second allowance
upon the same.

Section 20. Upon the production of the said justice's cer-
tificate before the County Commissioners they are author-

ized and directed to levy upon the assessable property of the
county a sum sufficient for the aforesaid bounties, for the
use of the person producing the same, and the county treas-
urer shall collect and pay the same, upon the warrant of the
County Commissioners, to the person or persons accordingly;

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to Incorporate the Severn River Bridge Company.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

Keuthe, Alton R. Arnold and William C. Shipley be and
they are hereby appointed commissioners for the purpose
hereinafter mentioned, with power to supply any vacancy
that may occur in their body by death, resignation or other-
wise; that is to say, that they or a majority of them, after
giving at least fifteen days' notice by publication in such
newspapers, and by such other mode as they, in their dis-
cretion, shall deem most conducive to the interests of their
enterprise, shall open a book or books at such place or
places as they may designate for receiving subscriptions to
the capital stock, to construct a bridge across the Severn
river, in Anne Arundel county, at some point above Round

bay; and thereupon, they or a majority of their board shall
proceed to receive subscriptions to the capital stock of the
company, by this Act incorporated; the said stock to be
limited to twenty-five thousand dollars, to be divided into
shares of fifty dollars each; and the said books shall be
open as long as the said commissioners or a majority of
them shall deem prudent.
