CHAPTER 738.
AN ACT to repeal Section 6 of Chapter 517 of the Acts of
1902, entitled "An Act to amend the Charter and enlarge
the powers of the Baltimore, Westminster and Gettysburg
Railroad Company, as amended by Chapter 350 of the Acts
of 1904," and re-enact said Section 6 with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 6 of Chapter 517 of the Acts of the

General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
Session, 1902, entitled "An Act to amend the charter and
enlarge the powers of the Baltimore, Westminster and Get-
tysburg Railroad Company, as re-enacted with amendments
by Chapter 350 of the Acts of 1904," be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, so as to
read as follows :

Repeal and
re-enact.
|

6. The construction of the main line from Reisterstown,
Maryland, to Westminister, Maryland, shall be commenced
within four years and completed within five years from the
passage of this Act.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 739.
AN ACT supplementary to and amending Chapter 231 of
the Acts of Assembly of 1894, entitled "An Act to estab-
lish an additional hospital for the insane of the State of
Maryland, and to appropriate a sum of money therefor,"
as amended by Chapter 70 of the Acts of Assembly of
1900, and extending the powers of the board of managers
thereof."
WHEREAS, The State of Maryland owns a large tract of

known as Springfield State Hospital for the Insane, upon
which it has expended large sums of money in the erection
of expensive and commodious buildings, located at different
parts of the property, now occupied by 500 or more insane
