before said justice where such suit or action or issue is
pending, then the said justice of the peace before whom suit
or action or issue is pending shall forthwith order and
direct the proceedings in any such suit or action or issue to
be transmitted to some other justice of the peace appointed
and qualified for and in any one of the said election
districts 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 24, 26, 27, 28; " and each

party shall be entitled to one removal, unless both parties
shall agree to have said suit, action or issue tried before
some certain justice of the peace in election districts Nos.
11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 24, 26, 27, 28, then said cause shall
be moved to the said justice of the peace having been agreed
upon by the parties.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 734.
AN ACT to open a public road from Chesapeake Beach to
North Chesapeake Beach, in Calvert County, Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Calvert county be

and they are hereby authorized and directed to open a public
road from the terminal of the Chesapeake Beach Railroad,
in Chesapeake Beach, to and through North Chesapeake
Beach, all in said Calvert county, and in so doing said
commissioners may acquire a right of way by gift, purchase
or by condemnation, as provided by existing law, for the
opening of public roads; and the said County Commis-
sioners are further authorized and directed either to use any
county funds at their disposal for the acquisition of said
right of way and construction of said road, or for that pur-
pose to levy upon the assessable property of said county a
tax sufficient to produce a sum of money, not to exceed the
sum of fifteen hundred dollars; provided, the North Chesa-
peake Beach Land and Improvement Company shall expend
an amount equal the sum spent by the County Commis-
sioners of Calvert county in the construction of said road.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
