challenger and watcher, or shall unlawfully threaten or
attempt or offer so to do, every such person shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be pun-
ished by imprisonment in jail for not less than three months
nor more than one year, or by a fine of not less than twenty-
five ($25) dollars nor more than five hundred ($500) dollars,
or by both fine and imprisonment; and the informer shall
receive one-half of the fine collected and the other half shall
be paid to the County Commissioners of said county for the
use of public roads.
SEC. 27. And be it enacted, That if any person upon the

any evidence in this Act required, he shall, upon conviction
thereof be adjudged guilty of a felony, and shall for each
and every such offense be punished by imprisonment in the
penitentiary for not less than one nor more than five years.
