Act, and not otherwise; said candidates may be nominated
by direct vote of the duly registered voters belonging to or
acting with said parties in each precinct of said county, or
they may be nominated by county convention, -the delegates
to which shall be elected at primary elections duly held in
the different precincts of said county; providing, however,
that the nomination of candidates for the office of County
Commissioner they shall be voted for in the district in
which they reside, and a majority of the votes of that dis-
trict shall determine the candidate of the party to be voted
for at the succeeding general election; said primary elec-
tions shall be held on the third Saturday in June in the
year 1907, and biennially on that date thereafter.

SEC 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the

board of supervisors of election at least fifteen days before
the third Saturday in June in the year 1907, and biennially
thereafter, to select four judges and two clerks, taking two
of said judges and one of said clerks from each of the said
political parties, to act as the judges and clerks in the pri-
maries to be held in each election precinct of said county ;
and the said board of supervisors of elections shall give

notice by publication of the names of all of said judges and
clerks and the precincts for which they are selected by
causing the same to be published by two insertions in two
of the weekly newspapers printed in Harford county, one of
said papers, if possible, being of opposite political faith
from that of a majority of said board of supervisors of elec-
tion.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That said board of supervisors

lengers and watchers representing the candidates of said
