ered a part of the present electric light plant and shall be
controlled and managed and operated under the same rules,
regulations and provisions as provided for in said Chapter
27 of the said Acts of 1898.

SEC. 4. Be it enacted, That for the purpose of paying

the interest on the said bonds and for the purpose of redeem-
ing the same and paying them off at maturity the said
Burgess and Commissioners of the said town are authorized
and empowered and directed to levy such tax upon the
taxable property within the limits of the said town as
may be necessary to enable them in connection with the
revenues from the said electric light plant and the
additions thereto herein provided for to pay said bonds
and the interests thereon and the operating expenses
and necessary repairs to said works in each year, until
all of said bonds shall be paid off. The said taxes so
collected shall be paid to the treasurer of the said board of
supervisors and the amount levied for that purpose shall be
in addition to the amount now authorized by law. The
money arising from electric light rents shall be applied first
to the payment of the current 'expenses of said works and
plant; secondly, to the payment of the interest on said bonds,
and thirdly, as to any balance, to provide a sinking fund for
the payment of such bonds when they become due. And
when any bond is paid off it shall be immediately burned
and the fact noted in the registration book hereinbefore
referred to.

SEC. 5. Be it enacted, That the title of the said supple-
mental works and the increase and enlargement, and the

addition herein provided for, with all the lands, real estate,
water rights and franchises thereto appertaining, and mate-
rials thereof, shall vest in the said Burgess and Commission-
ers of Williamsport in their corporate capacity.

SEC. 6. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
