CHAPTER 79.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the "North Point Methodist
Episcopal Church, South, of Baltimore County," a body
corporate, by authorizing said corporation to acquire and
own additional church property and property for parsonage
purposes and burial grounds, and to acquire, hold and use
property for certain charitable, moral and social objects and
to effectuate the intention of grantors, donors and testators
who may make conveyances, gifts, devises or bequests to
said corporation.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

CHAP. 79.

Maryland, That the charter of "North Point Methodist Epis-
copal Church, South, of Baltimore County," a corporation
duly formed, organized and existing in accordance with law by
the adoption, execution, acknowledgment and record of its
certificate of incorporation under article 23 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Corporations," sub-title "Religious
Corporations," (said charter or certificate of incorporation
having been recorded in the office of the clerk of the Circuit
Court for Baltimore county on the 18th day of February,
1902), be and the same is amended as hereinafter set forth ;
provided, that the amendment hereby enacted shall take effect
when the trustees of said corporation, or a majority of them,
shall, by formal resolution, accept this Act, and when said
resolution shall be recorded in the record book of the said
corporation.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it is lawful for the said
corporation, and it is hereby authorized and empowered to
acquire, provide, erect, own, hold, maintain and administer, in
addition to its present house of worship, such other church

buildings, chapels and chapels of ease, parsonage or parson-
ages, burying ground or burying grounds as the trustees of
said corporation may deem necessary or proper, with all
proper appurtenances thereto, and equipment and furnishings
thereof ; and said corporation and its trustees shall have and
exercise in the premises all the powers set forth in their said
certificate of incorporation, and especially all the powers con-
ferred by section 206 of article 23 of the Code of Public

chapel owned or held by said corporation shall be used only
for religious purposes, as set forth in article 1 of said certifi-
cate of incorporation as recorded on the 18th day of February,
1902, as aforesaid ; and the trustees of said corporation shall
rigidly reserve all the churches and chapels thereof to such
