CHAP. 590.

Court shall
make an
order
releasing said
surety from
liability upor
the bond,
etc.

as it may direct, to preserve the estate, and upon the return
of such order to show cause, if the fiduciary account in due
form of law and file a new bond duly approved, then said
Court shall make an order releasing said surety from liability
upon the bond for any subsequent act of default of the
fiduciary, and in default of said fiduciary accounting and
filing such new bond said Court shall make an order directing
such fiduciary to account and file a new bond within thirty
days ; and it he shall account and file a new bond duly
approved, such surety shall be discharged from all further
liability for the acts or omissions of the fiduciary after the
date of such surety being so relieved or discharged, and if
such fiduciary shall fail within the time specified by order of
Court to account and file a new bond as directed therein, the
Court shall remove such fiduciary and appoint a successor
in the trust, who shall be authorized to proceed against such
fiduciary and his bond for the recovery of the estate. The
costs of proceeding under this Act shall be taxed in the dis-
cretion of the Court.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 591.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
745 A of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Police Com-
missioners," as enacted by Chapter 16 of the Acts of 1900,
an Act to provide for the Creation of a Board of Police
Examiners for Baltimore City, to define and prescribe the
duties thereof, and to regulate appointments, reduction in
rank, and transfers and removals from the Police Force of
said city, and to repeal all Acts and parts of Acts incon-
sistent with this Act, said provisions to be a part of Article
4, Public Local Laws, sub-title "Police Commissioners," and
to be numbered Sections 745 A, 745 B, 745 C, 745 D, 745 B
and 745 F.

Repeal and
re-enact.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 745 A of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Police
Commissioners," be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, so as to read as follows :
