style of the Myersville Cemetery Association, and by that name
shall be able and liable to sue and be sued in any Court having
competent jurisdiction ; and be it further enacted, that said
corporation shall have the power to receive bequest by will,
gifts or subscriptions, and may make and use a common seal.

CHAP. 546.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That the said J. Lemuel
Doub, Samuel Pattingill, George C. Eldridge, William H.
Leatherman, John F. Garmand, be known as directors of the
Myersville Cemetery Association, and shall serve until the last
Saturday in December, 1902, or until their successors are
elected.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the election of
directors shall be held annually the first Saturday in December
or as soon thereafter as practicable, between the hours of 2
P. M. and 4 P. M., at such place as shall be designated by
the directors by giving public notice. The number shall not
be more than seven.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the membership of
said Myersville Cemetery Association may lessen the number
of directors at their annual meeting for the purpose of giving
any other cemetery association representation on the board of
directors.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the said board of
directors shall meet by January 1st, or within ten days there-
after, and organize by electing one of their number as presi-
dent, one as secretary, and one as treasurer. Said board of
directors shall have power to acquire land, make by-laws, rules
and regulations for the government and management of the
property in their charge, not inconsistent with the constitution
and laws of the State. They shall have power to appoint
such other officers, agents and employes as they may consider
necessary ; to fix their duties, to provide for their payment,
and may discharge any or all of them whenever they may
deem it expedient so to do. They shall have power to desig-
nate the person or persons who in their judgment are qualified
to be entrusted with the digging, filling and walling of graves,
and the making of all kinds of excavations for burial pur-
poses, as well as for the foundations of all monuments, tomb-
stones or other devices therein, and for the walling of the
same in the cemetery grounds, and may prohibit the same
from being done by any other person or persons. They
shall lay out lots for burial purposes, drives, walks and such
other devices as shall to them seem proper, and they shall
cause all lots to be numbered, marked, or otherwise desig-
nated, and may dispose of them upon such terms and condi-
tions as they may deem proper, and such lots, when sold, shall
