SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Cecil county,
|

Maryland, be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
refund to the heirs of Mary H. Budd two hundred and fifty
dollars and forty-seven cents, money erroneously paid into
county treasury as county taxes for the years 1867, 1868,
1869, 1870, 1871, 1872, 1873, 1874, 1875, 1876, 1877, 1878,
1879, 1880, 1881, 1882, 1883, 1884, 1885, 1886, 1887, 1888,
1889, 1890, 1891, 1892, 1893, 1894, 1895.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 65.
AN ACT to re-establish, survey and mark the boundary lines
between Sf. Mary's and Charles Counties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Jos. F. Morgan, of St. Mary's county, S.
Henry Cox, of Charles county, and Aquilla T. Robinson, of
Prince George's county, are hereby appointed commissioners
to re-establish, survey and mark the boundary line between
St. Mary's and Charles counties.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said commissioners, as

soon after the passage of this Act as practicable, not later
than the first day of June, 1902, shall proceed to the perform-
ance of the duties imposed upon them by this Act.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said commissioners shall

appoint a president and secretary of their body, and shall
keep a record of their proceedings, and shall appoint a compe-
tent surveyor and other assistance to enable them to carry out
the purposes of this Act; and that the assistance needed by
them in making the survey and other purposes shall be
selected by the said commissioners equally, as far as may be,
from the counties of St. Mary's and Charles.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That in surveying and marking
the said boundary between the said counties they shall, as far

as possible, conform to the old line heretofore marked and
laid out between the said counties, and for that purpose may
take the testimony of old residents, upon oath administered by
the president of the commission, as to the course of the old
line.
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That as soon as the said commis-
sioners or a majority of them have re-established, surveyed
and marked the boundary line between said counties, they or
