CHAPTER 455.
AN ACT to place the Court-house and grounds of Upper
Marlboro, Prince George's County, under the care, control
and custody of the Crier of the Circuit Court for said
County.

SECTJON 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the court-house and grounds attached thereto
of Upper Marlboro, Prince George's county, Maryland, be
and the same are hereby placed under the care, custody and
control of the crier of the Circuit Court for said county, who
shall be at said court-house daily to see that it is properly
cared for, and whose compensation shall be two hundred
dollars, to be annually levied by the County Commissioners of
Prince George's county, for the services in his behalf in addi-
tion to the eighty dollars annually now paid said crier for his
services as crier ; the first levy of two hundred dollars for
services to be performed in pursuance of this Act, shall be
made in March, 1903, for services rendered from the date of
the passage of this Act up to said March, 1903.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 456.
AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the devise and gift by the last
will and testament of Emily Millar, late of Charles County,
deceased, of a tract of land situated in Charles County, to the
Vestry of Durham Parish.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared,
given and granted to the devise and gift by the last will and
testament of Emily Millar, late of Charles county, deceased,
duly recorded among the wills records in the office of the
register of wills for said Charles county, of a tract of land situ-
ated in Charles county aforesaid and fully described in said
last will and testament.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
