SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That in addition to the
powers possessed by it under the certificate of incorporation,
which are hereby ratified and confirmed, shall have and
possess the further powers, rights, privileges and franchises
particularly mentioned in this Act, and that its charter as set
out in said certificate of incorporation shall be altered and
amended so as to conform to the terms and provisions of this
Act.

CHAP. 414.

Additional
powers
granted.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the capital stock
of said corporation shall be as now set out in its articles of
incorporation with the privilege of increasing the same from
time to time by a two-third vote of the stockholders, at a
special meeting or meetings to be called for that purpose, to
one million dollars and no more, and also to increase the
number of directors to twenty-four, from time to time, by an
amendment or amendments to the by-laws.

Capital stock.

SEC. 4. Be it further enacted, That said corporation shall ,
have the power to warrant its reports as a mercantile agency,
to correct and also insure all searches of titles to land made by
it, and to generally warrant all work done by it in the course
of its business and work of its employes.

SEC. 5. Be it further enacted, That the said corporation
shall have the right to collect the income of property of every
kind and to insure its collections upon such terms as may be
agreed upon.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 175 B, 175 C, 175 G and 175 L of
Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State
of Maryland, title "Allegany County," under the sub-title
"Intoxicating Liquors," as enacted by the Acts of 1894,
Chapter 140, and the Acts .of 1898, Chapter 225, and to
re-enact the same with amendments, and to add thereto a
new Section, designated as 175 P.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections 175 B, 175 C, 175 G and 175 L of
