the time of bringing of the suit, or if the plaintiff be a corpora-
tion, the said affidavit or affirmation may be made by any
agent of plaintiff or plaintiffs, or any of them, who will make
further oath or affirmation that he has personal knowledge of
the matter herein stated ; and the said affirmation or affidavit
may be made before any of the persons who may take an
affidavit or affirmation to authorize the issuing of a foreign
attachment, and may be certified in the same manner.

Section 24 D. When any judgment by default shall be
entered under any of the preceding sections the Court may
at any time thereafter assess the damages upon proof thereof

Section 24 E. On all judgments entered in said Court there
shall be a stay of execution until the return day or the first
day of the term, whichever shall first occur next succeeding
the return day or the first day of the term at which said judg-
ment may have been entered, with the right to the defendant
to supersede the same for six months from the expiration of
said stay as now allowed by law ; provided, however, that the
Court may, on motion in writing by the plaintiff or his
attorney, showing sufficient reasons therefor, allow an execu-
tion or attachment or other proper writ to be issued at any
time after the entry of judgment as aforesaid and before the
expiration of said stay.
SEC. 2. And 1)6 it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
upon the first day of May in the year nineteen hundred and
two.

CHAPTER 410.
AN ACT to regulate the closed season for hunting, shooting,
catching, killing or having in possession partridges, quail,
pheasants, rabbits, squirrels, woodcock, snipe or plover in
Anne Arundel and Prince George's Counties, and to pro-
vide for the enforcement of same.

Game law.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That no person shall shoot or in any manner hunt,
catch, kill or have in possession in Anne Arundel or Prince
George's counties, in this State, any partridge or quail,
English or Mongolian pheasant, American pheasant, rabbit or
squirrel, between the twenty-fifth day of, December and the
ninth day of November, following, both days inclusive in each
and every year, or any woodcock between the first day of
January and the first day of July, following, both days inclu-
