CHAP. 333.

enlargement, increase and improvement of the water service
and water supply of the city of Baltimore, by the construc-
tion of an additional storage reservoir, the extension of the
city water service to the district inside the city limits west of
Gwynn's Falls, the extension of the upper service to the dis-
trict inside the city limits east of Jones' Falls, and such other
means and appliances for an enlarged and improved water
supply as may be deemed necessary and appropriate, and as
may be prescribed by the ordinance hereafter to be passed,
under the authority of this Act ; and provided further, that

the ordinance providing for the issue of this stock shall be
first approved by a majority of the legal voters of said city
cast at some time and place to be fixed by said ordinance in a
provision for submitting the same to the legal voters of the
said city, as required by section 7 of Article 11 of the Consti-
tution of this State; and provided further, that nothing in this
Act shall be taken as affecting in any way the existing rights
of the Baltimore County Water and Electric Company of Balti-
more County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 334.
AN ACT to amend the Charter of "Board of Missions of
the Baltimore Annual Conference of the Methodist Episco-
pal Church, South, of Baltimore City," a body corporate,
by granting to said corporation perpetual succession ; by
authorizing it to acquire, own and dispose of property or
money situate out of this State ; by authorizing and empow-
ering it to take and hold under grants, gifts, devises and
bequests declaring a trust or giving direction for purposes
identical with or germane to the objects of said corporation
as declared in its certificate of incorporation, or imposing
conditions upon the same, and such grants, devises and
bequest not to create a perpetuity, and authorizing and
empowering said corporation to take and administer any
grants, gifts, devises or bequests made to the Methodist
Episcopal Church, South, or to the Baltimore Annual Con-
ference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, for the
objects declared in the certificate of incorporation of said
corporation, and gifts, grants, devises and bequests to or for
the missionary or like work of said church or conference,
and the same not to be held vague or indefinite.
