not apply to.

boxes, trays, carriers, crates, founts, bottles, syphons, jags,
tins, barrels, casks or any other vessels for the consumption of
the mineral, soda or aerated waters, wine, beer, porter, ale,
cider, ginger ale, small beer, lager beer, weiss beer or other
beverages placed therein by the owners, or who after con-
sumption of said contents is in possession of the same while
awaiting the return to the owners ; nor shall the provisions of
this Act apply to any garbage man collecting the same in the
regular course of his business.

CHAPTER 246.
AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more to issue the stock of said corporation to an amount not
exceeding One Million Dollars ($,1,000,000), for the pur-
pose of providing extensions to the Underground Conduits,
built under the direction of the Electrical Commission in
the city of Baltimore, and to authorize the submission of an
ordinance for that purpose to the legal voters of said city,
said extensions to be made in accordance with authority
vested in said Electrical Commission by Ordinances 106,
107 and 108 of the Ordinances of the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, by virtue of the provisions of Chapter
200 of the Acts of Assembly of Maryland enacted during
the Session of the year 1892.

Stock
to be issued.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore be
and it is hereby authorized to issue its stock to an amount not
exceeding one million dollars ($1,000,000), to be issued in
such amount or amounts, and payable at such time, and bear-
ing such rate of interest as the said Mayor and City Council
ot Baltimore shall by ordinance prescribe. The proceeds of
said issue to be used to provide extensions to the underground
conduits built under the direction of the Electrical Commis-
sion in said city, said extensions to be made in accordance
with authority vested in said Electrical Commission by ordi-
nances 106, 107 and 108 of the ordinances of the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore, by virtue of the provisions of
chapter 200 of the Acts of Assembly of Maryland enacted
during the session of the year 1892, but said stock shall not
be issued unless the ordinance providing for the issue of said
stock shall be approved by a majority of the legal voters of
