SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Talbot county
shall pay annually to the Commissioners of the town of
Oxford, in Talbot county, a sum of money, not less than fifty
dollars, out of the tax levied upon the property within the
limits of the town of Oxford, in said county, for the purpose
of keeping in good repair the main or public road running
through the said town, and known and described on the plat
of said town as Morris street.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 233.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commission-
ers of Washington County to refund to Abraham Kuhn, a
sum of money erroneously paid as taxes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Washington
county be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to
levy an amount of taxes in addition to that now levied, suffi-
cient to refund and pay to Abraham Kuhn ninety dollars and
ninety-six cents erroneously paid by the said Abraham Kuhn
to the tax collectors of Washington county for year of 1897,
thirty dollars and thirty-two cents; for the year of 1898, thirty
dollars and thirty-two cents ; and for the year of 1899, thirty
dollars and thirty-two cents; and contrary to the Acts of
1896, chapter 120, section 194.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
