in such other place of confinement as the said commissioners
may provide, and they shall be entitled to charge the same
fees as constables are allowed by law in like eases. The
sheriff of said county is hereby directed to receive into said
county jail any person or persons brought to said jail by said
town bailiff or bailiffs, committed to the same by the afore-
said town justice or any justice of the peace of said county.
Section 64. It shall be the duty of the County Commis-

sioners of Prince George's county or the Board of County
Road Commissioners of said county, as the case may be, to
pay annually to the Commissioners of the village of Bladens-
burg the amount of road taxes levied or taxed upon property
within the limits of said corporation, and also one-half of the
funds derived from liquor licenses issued to persons dealing
in liquors within the limits of said town. The aforesaid sums
of money to be appropriated and used by the commissioners
of the village of Bladensburg for the repair and improvement
of the roads and sidewalks within the said corporate limits.

CHAPTER 165.
AN ACT to repeal Sub-Section B of Article 10 of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-title
"Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," as enacted by Chapter
332 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at the January Session, 1896, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sub-section B of Article 10 of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-title
"Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," as enacted by chapter 332
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
the January Session, 1896, be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, to read as follows :

Repeal and
re-enact.

Sub-Section B. It shall be unlawful for any person or per-
sons, firm or corporation, directly or indirectly, to sell or
otherwise dispose of, by way of barter, within election district
number seven of Dorchester county, any spirituous, vinous,
malt or fermented or other intoxicating liquors or cider of
any kind, medicated bitters or any compound of which alcohol
is a chief or principal ingredient; and it shall also be unlaw-
ful for any person or persons, firm or corporation within said
election district number seven, to take orders for any such
liquors, medicated bitters of alcoholic compound at any time
