of two hundred and ten thousand dollars, to be issued in order
to pay off the bonded indebtedness of said county, shall bear
interest at a rate not exceeding three and one-half per cent.
per annum ; and said bonds shall be so issued that a series
amounting to forty-five thousand dollars thereof to pay said
floating debt, shall mature and become payable on the first day
of October, nineteen hundred and three, and a series amount-
ing to forty-five thousand dollars thereof to pay said floating
debt shall mature and become payable on the first day of
October, nineteen hundred and four; and said bonds to be
issued to pay said bonded indebtedness shall be so issued that
a series of said bonds to the amount of ten thousand dollars
shall mature and become payable on the first day of October,
in the year nineteen hundred and five, and a like series of the
amount of ten thousand dollars on the first day of October in
each and every year thereafter, so that the last series of said
bonds of ten thousand dollars shall fall due on the first day of
October, nineteen hundred and twenty-five.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the County Commissioners

the assessable property in said county such sum of money as
may be necessary to pay the interest on the said bonds by
them issued in pursuance of this Act as the same shall fall
due, and also such further and additional sum as may be
required to retire and redeem said bonds as they mature and
payable until they shall be redeemed.
SKO. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 116.
AN ACT for the further protection of pheasants, partridges
or quail, woodcock and wild turkeys in Garrett County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That no person, corporation or company shall at
any time kill, or expose for sale, transport or have in posses-

sion, any pheasant, partridge or quails, woodcock and wild
turkey after the same has been killed, for any purpose except
for consumption as food, within Garrett county ; nor kill,
expose for sale, or have in possession any of the above-named
game with the intention of sending, or transporting, or having
the same sent or transported beyond the limits of said county ;
provided, that nothing herein shall prevent the barter or sale
of such game for home consumption only by residents of said
county within the limits of said county.
