ance according to the terms of the bond, the justice of the
peace shall declare the bond forfeited and shall so certify to
the same and deliver the bond to the clerk of the Circuit Court
for Washington county, and shall notify the State's Attorney
of Washington county of said forfeiture, and then such pro-
ceedings shall be taken as are now had in cases where recogni-
zances are forfeited in the Circuit Courts.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 114.
AN ACT to amend the Charter of "The Commonwealth
Guarantee Company" now called the "Commonwealth
Bank of Baltimore," passed at the January Session of the
General Assembly of Maryland, eighteen hundred and
ninety-two, being Chapter five hundred and two of the
Acts of said Session, as the same was amended by an Act
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January Session eighteen hundred and ninety-four, being
Chapter six hundred and thirty of said Session, by repealing
and re-enacting Section six thereof, and by adding Sections
ten, eleven and twelve thereto.
WHEREAS, Pursuant to the powers conferred upon the

stockholders and directors of the Commonwealth Guarantee
Company under section eight of chapter six hundred and
thirty of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at its January Session eighteen hundred and ninety-
four, the name of said corporation was changed from the
"Commonwealth Guarantee Company" to the "Commonwealth
Bank of Baltimore."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section six of chapter four hundred and two
of the Acts of the General Assembly, passed at the January
