authority in them vested by Sub-section 2 of Section 4 of
the Act of 1892, Chapter 143 of the General Assembly of
Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the proceedings of the stockholders of the
Firemen's Insurance Company of Baltimore, had and taken
in pursuance of the Act of the General Assembly of Mary-

land of 1892, chapter 143, section 4, sub-section 2, whereby
the capital stuck of said company has now come to consist of
forty thousand shares of the par value or $10 each, aggrega-
ting $400,000, and the changes by said proceedings effected
in the amount of said capital stock and in the number and
par value of the shares thereof (which proceedings are shown
by certificates dated March 14, 1901, and November 7, 1901,
recorded in the charter records of Baltimore city, in Liber R.
O., No. 39, folio 470, etc., and Liber R. O., No. 40, folio 284,
etc., respectively), be and the same are hereby ratified and
approved.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 88.
AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Town of Frostburg by
adding a new Section to Article 1 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Allegany County," sub-title "Frostburg,"
to follow Section 133 of said Article, and to be known as
Section 133 A, providing for the sub-division of said town
into wards; and also by repealing Sections 134, 135, 136,
143, 147, 148, 149, 153, 159 and 161 of said Article, and
re-enacting the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be added to article 1 of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Allegany County," sub-title

approved.

"Frostburg," to follow section 133 of said article, and to be
known as section 133 A, and that sections 134, 135, 136, 143,
147, 148, 149, 153, 159 and 161 of said article be and the
same are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so
as to read as follows :

Repeal.

Section 133 A. The town of Frostburg shall be divided into
two wards, the first to consist of all those portions of election
districts eleven and twelve of Allegany county lying within
