from and after the first day of October, eighteen hundred and

CHAPTER 348.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Section 193 of Article 18 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title '-Queen Anne's County,"
sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," with pmend-
ments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows:

193. It shall not be lawful for the clerk of the Circuit Court

liquors or lager beer to any person or body politic in election
district number five, or Queenstown district of Queen Anne's
county, unless such person or body politic shall have been
recommended to the clerk by the Grand Jury which shall have

CHAPTER 349.

AN ACT to add an additional section to Article 23 of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Corporations," sub-title
"Dissolution of Corporations," to follow section 264, to be
designated as "Section 264 A," relating to preferences and to
fraudulent and improper conveyances, and transfers made by
corporations when insolvent or in contemplation of insol-
vency.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
