LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAPTER 200.

AN ACT to make valid and effectual and legalize the offi-
cial acts of Daniel L. Shue, late Justice of the Peace of the
State of Maryland, in Election District Number Fifteen of
Allegany county, done and performed as of his said office as
justice of the peace, after his term of office had expired.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, Daniel L. Shue, Esquire, was duly appointed and
commissioned by the Governor of the State of Maryland, a
justice of the peace for the State of Maryland, in and for the
fifteenth election district of Allegany county; and

Preamble.

WHEREAS, The said Daniel L. Shue, having qualified and
acted as justice of the peace in said district since the first Monday
in May, 1892; and

Preamble.

WHEREAS, The said Daniel L. Shue, after his term of ap-
pointment as such justice of the peace had expired, performed
certain acts as his office under the impression and belief, and
all those intrusted in said acts being under impression and
belief, that the terms of said Daniel L, Shue, as justice of the
peace had not then expired; therefore,

Shue made
valid.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the official acts of Daniel L. Shue, done and per-
formed in the capacity of or as a justice of the peace of the
State of Maryland, in and for Allegany county, after the expi-
ration of his said term of office, be and the same are hereby
made valid and effectual, and shall have the same force and
effect in law, as if the same had been done and performed
within and during the term for which he, the said Daniel L.
Shue, had been so, as aforesaid, appointed and commissioned.

Effective.

SEO. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
Approved April 2d, 1896.

CHAPTER 201.

AN ACT to require the School Commissioners of Allegany
County to pay the salaries of Public School teachers in said
county monthly.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
