CHAPTER 29.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the claim of
William J. C. Dulany Company, for stationery furnished
for the use of the General Assembly of eighteen hundred
and ninety-four, and the Executive Department, Court of
Appeals and State library for eighteen hundred and ninety-
four, and eighteen hundred and ninety-five, and the General
Assembly of eighteen hundred and ninety-six.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the State be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon the Treas-
urer of the State for the sum of seven thousand eight hundred
and seventy-one dollars ($7,871.00) for stationery furnished for
the use of the General Assembly of eighteen hundred and
ninety-four, and the Executive Department, Court of Appeals
and State library for eighteen hundred and ninety-four and
eighteen hundred and ninety five, and the General Assembly
of eighteen hundred and ninety-six.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 30.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
3 and 4 of Chapter five hundred and thirty-six of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the Janu-
ary session, 1888, and to add an additional section to said
Chapter five hundred and thirty-six; to increase the amount
of the capital stock of the Hagerstown City Passenger Rail-
way Company, reduce the par value of the shares thereof
to five dollars ($5), and empower the said company to con-
struct and operate branch railroads from Hagerstown to
certain towns in Washington County.

Repeal.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sections 3 and 4 of Chapter tive hundred and
thirty-six of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at the January session, 1888, be and the same are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so as to
read as follows :
