SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section one hundred and eighty-five of Article ten
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester County,"
sub-title "Fish," as the same was repealed and re-enacted by
the act of eighteen hundred and ninety-two, chapter eighty, be
and the same is hereby repealed aad re-enacted so as to read
as follows :

Repeal.

185. It shall be unlawful for any person to use patent twine
weirs, or other twine weirs, pound nets, fykes or hauling seines
of greater length than three hundred and fifty feet for taking
or catching fish, terrapin or crabs in the following waters of
Dorchester county: All that part of Fishing bay north of a
line from Roasting Oar Point to the upper side of Duck's
Island Cove, or any of the tributaries of Honga river or Little
Choptank river and its tributaries, except land owners border-
ing upon said waters or by residents living in the vicinity of
said river and tributaries, and after they have first obtained the
consent of the owner of the shore bordering on said Little
Choptank river and its tributaries. And it shall also be unlaw-
ful to obstruct and occupy with their patent twine weirs or
other twine weirs, pound nets, fykes or stick weirs more than
one-half of the width at any point they may select of the Big
Blackwater river and its tributaries or the Little Blackwater
river, and none of the said weirs or nets shall be set less than
one hundred and fifty yards apart, one from another

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date, of its passage.

Approved March 27th, 1896.

CHAPTER 120.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Sections
1, 2, 4, 141 and 146 of Article 81 of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Revenue and Taxes," and to and cer-
tain new sections to said article to take their proper places
numerically therein, and to be numerically numbered as Sec-
tions 146 A, 146 B, 146 e, 146 D, 146 E, 146 F, and from Sec-
tions 164 to 195, both inclusive.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
