An act for the protection of, and for

other purposes,

On proof upon oath before a justice of

the peace, that any dog has been detected

in killing or injuring sheep, upon complaint

to the owner of said dog, he shall proceed

forthwith to kill said dog, and on refusal to

do so, he shall be liable to pay the owner

double the value of said sheep,

sons, &c. tp obtain licenses, &c.

Entitled to 25 cents for every license ob-

tained by any person whose name he had

persons, &c. as had been previously omit-

ted, or who may have removed meantime,

or become liable to have such license.

Same compensation allowed,

Of Carolina county, allowed 50 cents

each for ironing and unironing prisoners,
