No. 49.

 

A resolution requiring the Armorer at Annpolis to deliver to Cap-
tain Richard J. Somcrvell, of Calvert county certain arms and
accoutrements.

Passed March 13,
1828.

Resolved, That the Armorer at Annapolis be, and he is
hereby required to deliver to Captain Richard J. Somervell,
of Calvert county, any arms or accoutrements not exceeding
sixty of each, which the said Somervell may select, on his
giving such security for the safe keeping and return of the
game, as the Governor and Council may require.

A resolution in favor of the representatives of Mary Richards,
widow of Paul Richards , who was a soldier of the revolu -
tion.

1828

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is hereby autho-
rised and required to pay to the representatives of Mary
Richards, widow of Paul Richards, who was a soldier of the
revolution, such sum as may appear to have been due her, at
the time of her death.

A resolution, with its preamble, providing for the payment of
Jonas Green and William M'Nier respectively, for the print-
ing of the Journals of proceedings of both branches of the
Legislature, at the present session.

1828

WHEREAS this legislature contracted with Jonas Green to
print the daily journal of the House of Delegates, at its pre-
sent session, and with William M'Neir, to print the daily
Journal of the Senate; the said Green and M'Neir, also to
print the number of each Journal for distribution to the res-
pective persons entitled to a copy thereof, at the rate of three
dollars and twenty-five cents per page, Therefore,

Preamable.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore be, and
he is hereby authorised and directed to pay to the said Jonas
Green and William M'Neir, or their orders, at the above rate
ot three dollars and twenty-five cents per page,for the priming
so contracted for,out of any unappropriated money in the trea-
sury, upon their producing a certificate from the clerk of the
council, that the work has been completed agreeably to con-
tract, aad is ready for distribution.
