torical Trust, which usually met in Annapolis. He also attended the
Maryland Historical Society Publications Committee meetings, of which
he is a member, and the Library Association Reprint Committee. He
was also a member of the Maryland Educational-Cultural Broadcasting
Commission, which met regularly until its work was done. He is also
a member of the Baltimore Bibliophiles. The Manuscript Society of
America met in Baltimore in September 1967, and they visited An-
napolis on September 15th, where they were addressed by the Archivist
on the work of the Hall of Records. The Archivist also attended the
Maryland Court Clerks' Association Meeting in Ocean City, where he
was accompanied by Mr. Skordas and Mr. Beach. He attended the
Society of American Archivists Annual Meeting in Santa Fe, New
Mexico in October 1967, and he was accompanied there too by Mr.
Beach and Mr. Skordas. He was invited to take part in the meeting
of the Joint Committee on Bibliographical Service to History, which
was held at Belmont, May 3, 4 and 5, 1967, and thereafter at a Con-
ference on Quantitative Data on Early American History which was
held at Williamsburg, November 3-6, 1967. The Archivist also took
part in the selection of the Historic Annapolis Indexing Project workers.

Mr. Skordas continued to serve as a member of the ad hoc com-
mittee of the Society of American Archivists on Uniform Archival
Statistics.

Mr. Beach and Mr. Brown attended the annual convention of the
National Microfilm Association in Chicago, May 20-23, 1968 and Mr.
Brown also attended the annual meeting of the Maryland County Com-
missioners Association held the same year in Ocean City, and Mr.
Straubinger attended the annual meeting of the Register of Wills
Association in Ocean City, July 6-8, 1967.

Mr. White was present at the meeting of the State Department of
Education Committee on the Constitutional Convention. He also spoke
to the Social Studies teachers at the Annapolis Junior High School on
the use of the MARYLAND MANUAL as a supplementary textbook
and then attended the annual meeting of the State Curriculum Coordinat-
ing Committee of the State Department of Education in Baltimore on
December 7, 1967.

Mrs. Jacobsen represented the Hall of Records at the annual
meeting of the County Historical Societies of Maryland, held at the
Maryland Historical Society in Baltimore.
