ordinances
or resolutions. AND MUNICIPAL CHAR-
TER.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That new Section 8B be and it is hereby
added to Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition and 1959 Supplement), title "Cor-
porations—Municipal", to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 8A thereof, and to be under the new sub-title
"Municipal Codes", to read as follows:

ARTICLE 23A
Municipal Codes

8B. Depositories.

Whenever the mayor and city council, by whatever
name known, of any municipal corporation in this State
publishes or issues in printed, mimeographed or similar
duplicated form a code or compilation containing all or
a portion of the municipal charter, ordinances or resolu
tions,
the mayor and council shall deposit copies free of
charge with the following State agencies: Hall of Rec-
ords Commission, one copy; State Library, one copy;
Department of Legislative Reference, four copies.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That new Section
32A be and it is hereby added to Article 25 of said Code
(1957 Edition), title "County Commissioners", to fol-
low immediately after Section 32 thereof, and to be
under the new sub-title "County Codes", to read as
follows:

ARTICLE 25
County Codes
32A. Depositories.

Whenever the board of county commissioners or coun-
ty council of any county in this State publishes or issues
in printed, mimeographed or similar duplicated form a
code or compilation containing all or a portion of the
public local laws, resolutions or ordinanaco of the
county, the board or council shall deposit copies free of
charge with the following State agencies: Hall of Rec-
ords Commission, one copy; State Library, one copy;
Department of Legislative Reference, five copies.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1960.
