Dear Dr. Radoff:

In reply to your letter of July 16, 1958,1 was glad to learn that the
Oxford University Press had previously given you notice that the
book was out of print and had been for a long time. I was not aware
of Mr. Oman's letter of June 9, 1952, addressed to Governor McKel-
din, at the time I wrote my first opinion. Had I had that information
I would have reached the conclusion which I now do, that the agree-
ment with the Oxford University Press has been terminated if it has
declined to reprint or to publish a new edition of the work, provided
demand has been made upon them to do so.
