LIBRARY ACCESSIONS

Additions to our library during the past year fell almost entirely into
the category of "useful books." There were few gifts; and our appropriation
for the purchase of printed materials is so small that each expenditure must be
carefully weighed. As a result our library continues to grow in usefulness
without as yet expanding beyond the limited space allotted to it. As in the
past, new books fall into three main groups: local history, Maryland genealogy
and exchange archival publications which are useful to us in many ways, es-
pecially in comparing procedures and production.
