fore, decided to consider our library as a working tool for the
public and as a result we have abandoned our very simple cata-
logue and replaced it with a modern author-subject-title cata-
logue. The decision to start such an expensive project at this
time was influenced by the fact that for the first time the Hall
of Records now has in its employ a professional librarian of
long experience. By the time this report is published the cata-
logue will be finished and ready for general use.
