Elsewhere in this report an account has been given of the equip-
ment which had been installed in the Hall of Records before the ap-
pointment of an Archivist. The additional equipment listed here will
include only those items large enough in cost to represent an im-
portant addition. It has also been thought wise to include only
those items which are permanent or semi-permanent: manila folders,
for example, are omitted, steel shelves for the stacks are included.
