1805 MARYLAND IMPRINTS
American.
RPB. [333]
Bower, George.
A Discoursef delivered in Hagers-Town, Maryland, on
the Anniversary of St. John the Baptist, June 24th,
1805, to the Brethren of Mount Moriah Lodge, No. 33, and
such of their visiting Brethren as attended for that
purpose. [thick-thin rule-, By the Rev. George Bower,
D.D. [thin-thick rule] Published at the special re-
quest of the Lodge. [rule] [2 lines, quotation] [rule]
Hagers-Town: Published by Jacob D. Die trick. John Gru-
ber, Printer. [l805]
16 p. 16.5 cm. [A]2 B6.
Advertised in the Frederick Republican Advocate Sept.
6, 1805, as "Just received from Hagerstown, and for Sale
at this Office." In the Frederick Hornet (Aug. 27,
1805) and the Frederick Herald (Aug. 31, 1805dssssss) appeared
almost identical advertisements of this item, with the
phrase "Just Published and for sale at this Office."
Possibly another edition of this item was published in
Frederick, but it seem likely that the insertion in the
Republican Advocate is simply more accurate.
