[A full and particular narrative of the Life, Charac-
ter and Conduct of John Banks, a Native of Nieuport in
Austrian Flanders, who was executed on the 11th day of
July 1806, for the wilful murdar of his wife, Margaret
Banks. Baltimore, G. Keatinge, l806]
Title supplied from New York edition (Printed for the
proprietor, 1806). DLC has two issues, of which one
(20 p.) has added t.p. (with cut): The only correct ac-
count of the life, trial and confession of John Banks,
who is to be executed this day, July 11. The other is-
sue (22 p.), with a one-page description of the execu-
tion inserted at p. 20, is probably the one copied by
Keatinge.
Advertised in the Baltimore Evening Post, July 16,
1806, as "This day is Published, and for sale at Keat-
inge 's Book-store;" and "correctly copied from the orig-
inal, printed in New-York, and received by the mail.
