The plan of Baltimore, with the names of all
the streets, lanes and alleys, public buildings,
wharfs, &c. elegantly engraved by Galland,
from actual survey.
Referred to on page 160 of Thomas W. Griffith's
Annals of Baltimore: "1797 ... Mr. George Keatinpce
published a small plan of the city."
John Galland was- an engraver in Philadelphia,
1796-1817, according to D.McN. Stauffer's American
engravers upon copper and steel, pt. 1, D. 94.
Keatinge's Plan of Baltimore is not included in
the list of Galland!s works, pt. 2, p. 173.

trict of Maryland, Supervisor's office, May 1st,
1797./ Abstract of the act passed at the last
session of Congress, "repealing in part, the act
concerning the duties on spirits distilled within
the United States,' passed the 8th day of May,
1792, / and imposing certain duties on the capaci-
ties of stills of a particular description." /
ctcxt of tho Abstract follows in two columns, 92
lines in the first column, 89 in the second.
