spring tavern, 30 miles from Baltimore, on the
road leading to Frederick-Town. / Four hundred
acres of land, laying in Bal- / timore county
three miles from said tavern, on the fall's of
Patasco, being / part of a tract of land called
Batchelor's refuge adjoining the plantation on /
which the subscriber now lives; and is entirely
woodland, no part ever cut / down, abounding with
hickory, oak, and chestnut. Lays level, and a
good / soil for farming, well watered and situ-
ated in the best range for cattle in Ma- / ryland.
