This hand tinted collotype reproduction of a portrait of William Goddard in
the possession of Mrs. C. Oliver Iselin of Providence was made possible
through her generosity. The artist is unknown.

Enlarged from a picture of Mary Katherine Goddard which was pasted on the
cover of her almanac for 1783 and is now in the possession of Mrs. C.
Oliver Iselin, with whose permission it is reproduced for the first time.
No other picture of Mary Katherine Goddard is known.
