Clerks of County
Courts and Balti-
more City Court,

And for every copy of such abstract or summary state
ment required by law, and also lor copies of the
original levy lists for the collectors, and to be trans-
mitted to the executive, and both branches of the
legislature for every ten words or figures of each,
and so pro rata, 1 ct
per copies or abstracts of the levy, assessment or pro-
perty lists, for the collectors of the county and state
taxes, and for the duplicates thereof, to be retained
and kept in the office, for every ten words or figures
of each, and so pro rata, 1 ct
For assisting in laying and apportioning the county
or city levy, and for all other services as clerk, to
be done and performed for their respective counties,
or the city of Baltimore, as the cask may be, annu-
ally, and by order of the justices of the several
levy courts, for time being, such further compen-
sation and satisfaction as the said levy courts re-
spectively, may in their judgments consider- rea-
sonable and just to allow, at the time of assessing
the county or city levy, in each aitcj every year.
For transcribing or making out dockets of suits, actions
or prosecutions, civil, criminal or equitable, with pro-
per alphabets thereto, at the several terms, for the
use of the county or city courts respectively, to be
charged to the respective counties, or the city of
Baltimore, as the case may be, and also for attor-
nies or sheriffs, when required, to be paid for by
the persons requiring the same, for evert ten
words or figures thereof, and so pro rata, 1 1/4 cts,
For a transcript or statement of any case from a ma-
gistrates's docket, deposited and filed in the clerk's
office, as directed by law, including search and cer-
tificate, without seal, 12 1/2 cts,
for recording or transcribing all deeds, indentures,
conveyances of land, mortgages, bills of sale, su-
persedeas's, or other instruments of writing requir-
ed by law, or the parties, to be recorded or trails-
eribed for every ten words or figures of any or ei-
ther of them, and so pro rata, 1 ct
For making out and entering on record every extract
of deed of conveyance for lands and tenements, and a
transcript thereof, to be sent to the clerk of the court
of appeals, agreeably to the acts of November session
Seventeen hundred and eighty-five, ehapter nine,
section seven, of November session eighteen hun-
dred and five, chapter sixty-five, section twenty,
and of eighteen hundred and six, chapter iiinety,
section seven, for every ten words or figures, aad so
pro rata, for such extract, 1 1/4 cts
And with regard to the transcript, 1 ct,
For drafting, recording of transcribing, the bonds of
sheriffs, coroners, collectors, constables, supervisors
