SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

19.

(a) A Class B beer, wine and liquor license shall be issued by the clerk of the
circuit court of the county in which the place of business is located, and the license
authorizes its holder to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic beverages at retail at any
hotel or restaurant at the place described, for consumption on the premises or
elsewhere, or as provided in the following subsections. The annual fee for this license is
$750, except as provided, and is payable to the clerk, before any license is issued, for
distribution as provided in this article.

(j) (1) In Charles County, the annual license fee is $300.

(2) This license shall provide for the consumption of BEER, wine and
liquor on the premises only.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1990.

AN ACT concerning

Health Occupations - Prescribers of Medicine

FOR the purpose of altering the Health Occupations Article definition of "authorized
prescriber" to include any other individual authorized by law to prescribe drugs,
medicine, or devices; ratifying and confirming certain actions performed from and
after a certain date; and making this Act an emergency measure.
