Ch. 202 LAWS OF MARYLAND
4-704.

[(a) The Secretary shall refer to the Board any major architectural problem or
plan concerning the construction, reconstruction, or repair of a State building.

(b) The Secretary and members of the staff of the Department shall consult with
the Board concerning the State building program.]

EXCEPT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND THE

CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS, BRIDGES, OR HIGHWAYS, EACH STATE
AGENCY SHALL REFER TO THE BOARD ANY MAJOR ARCHITECTURAL
PROBLEM OR PLAN CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION,
RECONSTRUCTION, OR REPAIR OF A STATE BUILDING.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.

AN ACT concerning

Kent County Public Schools - Open on Election Day

FOR the purpose of authorizing Kent County public schools to remain open and in
session on primary and general election days.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article - Education
Section 7-103(c)(5)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1989 Replacement Volume and 1989 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Education

7-103.

(c) (5) Notwithstanding any other provisions of this article, the public schools,
in the following counties, may remain open and in session on primary and general
election days:

(i) Calvert;
