Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

155.

(a) The salaries of the members of the boards of license commissioners shall be
as specified in this section. Where no salary is specified for such boards which serve ex
officio, the members may not receive additional compensation under the provisions of
this section.

(p) In Montgomery County, each member of the board of license commissioners
shall receive [$6,000 per annum] $9,000 PER YEAR, EXCEPT THE CHAIRMAN
WHO SHALL RECEIVE $10,000 PER YEAR.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to Article III,
Section 35 of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may not be construed to extend or
apply to the salary or compensation of the members of the Montgomery County Board
of License Commissioners in office on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions
of this Act concerning the salary or compensation of the members of the Montgomery
County Board of License Commissioners shall take effect at the beginning of the next
following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.

AN ACT concerning

Wildlife - Hunting Game Birds

FOR the purpose of altering certain definitions of game birds and wild waterfowl to
include birds raised in captivity and released to the wild or otherwise used for
hunting purposes; clarifying the timing and responsibility for establishment of
seasons and bag limits for resident game birds and mammals and for those game
birds regulated by the U.S. Department of the Interior;
prohibiting a person from
hunting certain game birds by baiting or in certain baited areas; providing certain
exceptions; and generally relating to the hunting of game birds.
