AN ACT concerning

Commission to Save the Lighthouses

FOR the purpose of extending the reporting deadline and existence of the Commission
to Save the Lighthouses.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

Chapter 642 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1989

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That:

(a) The Commission to Save the Lighthouses is established to investigate the
problems of saving lighthouses in Maryland waters.

(e) The Commission shall report its findings and recommendations to the
Governor and, consistent with § 2-1312 of the State Government Article, to the
General Assembly by July 1, [1990] 1991, and thereafter terminate its existence.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.
