geographic distribution throughout the county.

(d) The school shall include but not be limited to courses in driver safety, civic
responsibility, America and its heritage, and the ramifications present and future of
violating the laws of the State, both as to the individual and the community.

(e) The school shall be operated pursuant to the rules and regulations as
promulgated by the director and shall deliver such courses of study as deemed necessary
by the director and his assistants. The school may utilize any and all volunteer services
of the State, the county or any of her citizens.

(f) Failure of any probationer to attend said school as directed, without
reasonable cause, shall be considered violation of probation and shall be a
misdemeanor. Upon conviction thereof, the defendant shall be liable to a fine not to
exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00).

(g) The provisions of this section shall in no way prohibit the probationary
schools which have been established and are being conducted on a voluntary basis in
Baltimore County; provided, however, that any such voluntary school shall comply with
the minimum standards as established by the director.

(h) Attendance at these sessions shall be credited toward the drivers' education
program of the State of Maryland.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.
