Ch. 72 LAWS OF MARYLAND

1. §§ 10-501 through 10-510, §§ 10-611 through 10-630, and

§§ 12-101 through 12-406 of the State Government Article which pertain to public
meetings, access to public records, and tort claims immunity and liability;

2. Article 40A of the Code, the Maryland Public Ethics Law;
[and]

3. § 7-210 of the Tax - Property Article regarding property tax
exemptions for certain government-owned property; AND

4. ARTICLE 64A, §§ 12F THROUGH 12K, INCLUSIVE, OF
THE CODE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the commissioners
shall study whether the Injured Workers' Insurance Fund should implement a system of
competitive commissions. The commissioners shall submit their recommendations to
the Legislative Policy Committee prior to January 1, 1992.

SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the publishers of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, in consultation with the Director of Legislative
Reference, shall change any and all references to "State Accident Fund" in the
Annotated Code of Maryland to be the "Workers' Compenoation Insurance Fund
Injured Workers' Insurance Fund".

SECTION 3. 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1990.

AN ACT concerning

Caroline County - State's Attorney - Salary

FOR the purpose of altering the salary of the State's Attorney for Caroline County;
providing for certain annual incremental increases; generally relating to increasing
the salary of the State's Attorney for Caroline County; and prohibiting the salary
increase from affecting the incumbent.
