AN ACT to:

(1) prohibit the Department of Environmental Protection from issuing a
building permit to construct a private swimming pool until the owner complies with
certain safety requirements;

(2) require certain swimming pools to be enclosed during construction;

(3) delete natural planting from approved methods of enclosing a private
swimming pool;

(4) prohibit the owner from filling [[a]] certain private swimming pools until the
pool has passed final inspection by the Department of Environmental Protection; and

(5) generally amend the law regulating swimming pools.
