Ch. 59 LAWS OF MARYLAND

(j) (1) [Any use and occupancy order of the marital home shall be considered
in setting the amount of child support under this section.] UPON THE EXPIRATION
OF A USE AND POSSESSION ORDER OR THE EXPIRATION OF THE RIGHT
TO OCCUPY THE FAMILY HOME UNDER A SEPARATION OR PROPERTY
SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT AND UPON MOTION OF EITHER PARTY, THE
COURT SHALL REVIEW THE CHILD SUPPORT AWARD.

(2) IF THE ALLOCATION OF FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR
THE FAMILY HOME WAS A FACTOR IN DEPARTING FROM THE
GUIDELINES UNDER SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION, THE COURT MAY
MODIFY THE CHILD SUPPORT, IF APPROPRIATE IN ALL THE
CIRCUMSTANCES, UPON THE EXPIRATION OF THE USE AND POSSESSION
ORDER OR THE EXPIRATION OF THE RIGHT TO OCCUPY THE FAMILY
HOME UNDER A SEPARATION OR PROPERTY SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an
emergency measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health
and safety, has been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the
members elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take
effect from the date it is enacted.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Driver's License - Extension of Expiration Date

FOR the purpose of increasing the period for which the Motor Vehicle Administration
may extend the driving privileges of a licensed driver under certain circumstances;
decreasing the period for which the Motor Vehicle Administration may extend the
driving privileges of a licensed driver under certain circumstances; and making
this Act an emergency measure; and providing for the termination of this Act.
