CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2-89

A Resolution of the Council of the City of Bowie, Maryland, to initiate
amendments to Sections 39 and 40 of the Charter of the City of Bowie pursuant to the
authority granted by Article HE of the Constitution of Maryland and Sections 12 and
13 of Article 23A, Annotated Code of Maryland, (1987, Representative Volume);

For the purpose of changing the title of the City Administrator and authorizing
the City Manager to delegate duties to the Assistant City Manager.

[Section(s) 39 and 40 of the Charter of the City of Bowie, Prince George's County,
as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed
and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date December 9, 1989]
