(8) The members of the Advisory Council may not receive compensation
for their services. The members may be reimbursed for their reasonable expenses
incurred in the performance of duties, in accordance with the standard travel
regulations, and as provided in the State budget.

(9) The Secretary of Economic and Employment Development shall
provide staff support necessary for the completion of the Advisory Council's
duties and as provided in the State budget. Supervision of the staff shall be
provided by the Advisory Council.

(10) THE MEMBERS OF THE ADVISORY COUNCIL ARE
REQUIRED TO ATTEND 50 PERCENT OF ALL COUNCIL MEETINGS.

C. Duties and Responsibilities of the Advisory Council. The Advisory Council
shall have the following duties and responsibilities.

(1) The Advisory Council shall assist the Governor in developing the
necessary State strategy to allow for a healthy and an expanding construction
industry.

(2) The Advisory Council shall evaluate and review State and local
problems besetting the construction industry and shall recommend to the
Governor policies and effective measures to provide solutions to construction
industry impediments.

(3) The Council shall submit such periodic reports on its activities as
necessary and shall keep records and provide access thereto.

(4) The Council shall monitor, review and evaluate construction industry
vibrancy and may hold hearings throughout Maryland from time to time to gather
facts and information.

(5) The Advisory Council shall undertake and perform such other duties
and functions from time to time, may be assigned to it by the Governor or which
may be necessary for it to carry out the provisions of this Executive Order.

D. Rules of the Advisory Council. The Advisory Council may adopt rules
consistent with this Executive Order.

WHEREAS, Pesticides play an important role in the production of agricultural
products and protection of health, structures, and forest; and

WHEREAS,The improper manufacture, use, storage, or disposal of pesticides holds the
potential for impacting our health, the environment, and the Chesapeake Bay; and
